In effect, Bethesda has heavily nerfed every weapon in the game so that they are incredibly ineffective against these newly updated enemies whose levels have been majorly increased for no reason. Not only has this update to the enemy level changed the balance of the game for the worse, it has reduced the effectiveness of the biggest guns in Fallout 76.
After the most recent update, the enemy level cap has been raised to 100. Formerly, the game spawned a maximum of around level 68 for most humanoid enemy characters in Fallout 76. If you have a character with a level above 200, you’ll probably have noticed a number of “balance” changes to the game. Let’s explore just how cringeworthy this game has become. As of the recent Fall update for Fallout 76 (Wastelanders Season 2), Bethesda has taken it upon themselves to make some very questionable and disingenuous changes to the “balance” of the game.
This is my final review of and rant for Fallout 76.
